God has laid the need for a Christian business directory for Sarasota / Bradenton on my heart.

I think that there are so many locally based Christian consumers that would love a way to find like minded service people such as contractors, accountants, lawyers etc. Not on;y might they receive better service, they would also be patronizing the businesses of brothers and sisters in Christ.

Even within most churches, how many of us really know what the person sitting in front of us really does. Perhaps there are 3 or 4 painting contractors who are in need of work and would welcome the opportunity to bid on our job.

I am tired of hearing horror stories about people getting ripped off by less than honorable business poeple as well as quality businesses who are going under as a result of too little work.

Is there already such a directory available that you are aware of? I am very interested in pusuing this. What are your thoughts?

    Sincerely,

    Mark Spatz

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for dropping by and for submitting the comment. I am not aware of any online directory of local Christian businesses. The need definitely exists for it, however, and it sounds like it could be a viable project. How would you like to move forward with it?

    Thanks,

    David
