Supernatural Ability Within You

Last time, we looked at Grace as God’s empowerment for you. Even with that thought in mind, it can be easy to feel as though the ability and help God has made available for you is somehow far off and distant.
As long as we think of God’s empowerment as being out of reach or hard to get our hands on, we’ll flounder. To make matters worse, most people who have been brought up in religious traditions are still trying to earn or deserve God’s help in their lives, which defeats the whole purpose.

Supernatural Ability Within You
I’m here to tell you today that not only do you already qualify for God’s empowerment, but it’s already readily accessible to you! In fact, Jesus went so far as to say that it is within you.
“The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:20-21 NKJV)
You see, the Kingdom of God is where His power is in effect! And Jesus solved the mystery about where to find it. It’s inside you.
Too many times, we look outside ourselves to find help. We latch on to people, money or stuff thinking that they’ll help us get where we’re trying to go. But Jesus was specifically talking about all of that when He said the Kingdom doesn’t come, “with observation.” This means we aren’t looking for things we can observe with our senses.
Instead, Jesus taught us that when we make Him our King, His Kingdom literally dwells within us.
I don’t know about you, but when I think of a Kingdom, many things come to mind. In a Kingdom, there are treasures and wealth. There are laws that operate. There is military power to defend the citizens of the Kingdom.
“That sounds great,” you might be saying, “but the Kingdom of God is a spiritual one. I don’t see how that helps me here in the real world.”
You’re 100% right. The Kingdom of God is spiritual in nature. And Jesus assigned us the task of translating His Kingdom into the natural world. It’s the example He set for us while He was here, and it’s the job He gave us to do when He left. This is why He taught the disciples to pray:
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10 NKJV)
This job you’ve been given to bring God’s Kingdom to pass in the earth is what connects the dream in your heart to a much bigger purpose. And to the power you need.
When we get hold of the idea that our dreams aren’t really our dreams—they’re His—then we start to realize that He’s done everything in His considerable power to set you up to succeed. This is what makes the impossible possible. This is what makes resources available to you. Resources like:
- Ideas
- Wisdom
- Money
- People
- Supernatural Favor
- and more!
My friend, it’s time to stop looking for help outside yourself. Realize instead that God has already placed the answers you need inside you. Draw deeply from the well of His Kingdom inside you and find His empowerment there. Study and meditate on His Word to help you draw it out. You’ll find everything you need!
