The confirmation shows the time in Pacific time, the sign up page shows Eastern time. I think this is where Suzanne's confusion originated.

Hi Suzanne!

Thanks for your question. Apologies for any confusion. The webinar on February 16th is at 4pm Eastern time. We've double-checked our systems and they all seem to show that time. Would it be possible for you to reply back to the confirmation with a quick note? That will allow our team to see the message you received and correct any issue that may exist.

Thanks again for letting us know! Looking forward to "seeing" you on the 16th!

All the Best!

I believe this is a time of a great awakening for the body of Christ to the Kingdom of God principles.
Especially in the Church! Thank you David for being part of that awakening.

As His children we all have opportunity, if we believe His promises. I don't want money from the wealthy. I want their advice, expertise and ideas. Especially wealthy business owners that
have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is an insult to the poverty stricken in any country (USA included) to believe we are better, smarter and more loved of God than they.
Our job is to give each other opportunity, not just money. To come alongside and say "What can I do to help you become what God designed you to do and be?"

Hi @<a href="http://nourishthedream.com/2012/01/11/the-economic-opportunity-myth/comment-page-1/#comment-24676" rel="nofollow">David</a>: Thanks for being willing to engage. I always appreciate a lively discussion, and so I welcome different viewpoints and value them highly.tossed ou

You've tossed out some fantastic questions and ideas here. But I must disagree with what you said:

<blockquote>"The question is unfairly based upon false assumptions. That is, that the question supposes that there is such equal opportunity (for everyone), and that someone is in fact responsible to see it, embrace it, and utilize it."</blockquote>

Actually, I'm not under the assumption that equal opportunity exists for everyone at all. That's exactly why I used the language "create economic opportunity" in the question. There are many, many people (including many believers) who do not see themselves as having an opportunity to get ahead financially. This is true whether they live in Suburbia in the USA or in the deepest darkest parts of the poorest countries on earth.

Seeing yourself as having limited (or no) opportunity is part of the issue I'm hoping to get to here. It may be true that no opportunities are being presented to a person, but the gospel of the Kingdom is good news to that person.

And yes... we whine a bit in the US. And more than we should. Most Americans have never encountered poverty like I've seen it (and as you may have seen it) in the 3rd world. But the fact that we're better off than someone in a far-flung part of the globe should only fuel the intense desire to see the Kingdom of God demonstrated. As someone I greatly respect said, "You can never make enough money. When you see what's going on in the world, you realize: you can never make enough money."

We certainly agree wholeheartedly that, "We are personally responsible for all of it."

We've been given the Kingdom of God. And with it comes rights & privileges, but also great responsibility. Thus... the need for us to learn to create economic opportunities utilizing the gifts God has given us -- naturally speaking, yes, but most importantly: those we have access to through the Kingdom.
